The dog leads his dad to a homeless kitten on the street and insists on taking her home.

Earlier this month, while out on a walk, two pups came across a distressed animal and rushed to help. “Tang and Cream suddenly stopped and looked puzzled," said Hearn. "You could hear a meow a bit away, so both went running up to investigate."
They found a small kitten, about 3 to 4 weeks old, lying in the middle of the street, dirty and skinny with no mother in sight. Despite Hearn's concerns that his golden retriever and King Charles cavalier might chase the kitten, the dogs immediately comforted the scared little calico. Tang laid down next to her and whimpered while Cream licked and cleaned her.

Hearn knew he couldn't leave the kitten alone, so he took her home and made a comfortable place for her to rest. He and his girlfriend gave the kitten a much-needed bath and some food. They named her Tou Jiang, which means jackpot, and from the moment the dogs found her, they fell in love. They never leave her side and are always there to give her what she needs, whether it's comfort, cuddling, a tongue bath, or playtime.

Each dog has its own unique parenting style when it comes to raising Tou Jiang. Tang is the more relaxed mom, while Cream is more hovering and always next to her, playing and licking her clean. Though it has taken some getting used to, introducing a kitten into the family has been worth it for the love and excitement Tou Jiang brings her adoptive dog parents. “The dogs are always watching her and next to her,” Hearn said. “She plays with the dogs all day, and we have a home camera to watch them while at work."
